Sections

Mission

EPA has established sections that have their own steering committees. The mission of the 19 active EPA sections is to explore and solve problems in different specific areas of psychiatry, to collect and disseminate information, to establish working relations between individuals and with different national and international bodies working in the same field, and to achieve greater coordination.  These Sections organise their own symposia under the aegis of EPA, and annual conferences in Europe.

How to join the sections

Each section is self-administrating. Please contact directly the section that you would like to join. Contact details are available on the individual section pages.

Proposals for the establishment of new Sections must be sent to the EPA President. Each proposal must include the Section title, its objectives, a list of the activities to be conducted in the two years following establishment, the list of members and the composition of the Section’s Board (chair, vice-chair, secretary and treasurer).
