Prof. Andrea Fiorillo Begins Presidency as EPA Welcomes New Board Members

The EPA is pleased to announce the beginning of Professor Andrea Fiorillo’s term as President for 2025–2027. Prof. Fiorillo brings to the role a forward-looking vision rooted in scientific excellence, clinical relevance, and societal impact.

The EPA also extends congratulations to the newly elected Board members: Celso Arango (Spain), Judit Balázs (Hungary), Julian Beezhold (UK), Martina Rojnic Kuzman (Croatia), Simavi Vahip (Türkiye), and Umberto Volpe (Italy). In addition, newly appointed ex-officio Board members include Eka Chkonia (Georgia) and Koray Başar (Türkiye), representing the National Psychiatric Associations, along with Gaia Sampogna (Italy), representing the Early Career Psychiatrists Committee.
