The EPA co-signs the SIP Joint Statement on ICD-11
The EPA is delighted to co-sign the Societal Impact of Pain (SIP) Joint Statement, a document that outlines the importance of ICD-11 for healthcare systems and provides key recommendations for EU and national policymakers to ensure its timely implementation across the EU.
The SIP Joint Statement presents a shared position of the undersigned organisations with regards to the International Classification of Diseases 11th Revision. A harmonised and interoperable adoption of ICD-11 is key to ensuring that health systems use the most up-to-date terminology.
