EPA Forum

First introduced in 2015, the EPA Forum precedes the official opening of the annual European Congress of Psychiatry. It brings together the EPA community, EU and UN institutional representatives, civil society organisations, and diverse stakeholders in the field of mental health and care from across Europe.

The event will also be broadcast in real time on the EPA Congress website, ensuring access for all. This year’s event will be held under the theme “Carer Communities & Work Environments: Translating Policy into Action for Mental Health in Europe.” As the employment and health policy spheres come together to discuss initiatives for healthy, inclusive, sustainable and engaging work environments, the mental health professionals and carers that they rely on have important perspectives to share.

This eleventh edition of the EPA Forum will therefore aim to generate an impactful contribution to achievement of the aims set by the EPA Congress theme “Towards Real-World Solutions in Mental Health.”

The EPA is grateful to the event’s esteemed speakers and to more than 550 participants who joined the event before the Opening Ceremony of the 33rd European Congress of Psychiatry.
