Membership under the spotlight

The EPA is growing day by day, thanks to the presence and contributions of its various members. This community feeds our work and our achievements, and is the pillar on which we rely, and we are always grateful for it. This webinar aims to celebrate our community, highlight opportunities for involvement, and support you in making the most of your journey within EPA. Listen to key leaders sharing their updates, perspectives, visions and practical tools for engagement.

The session, moderated by Dr. Julian Beezhold (UK), EPA Secretary General, opens with EPA President Prof. Andrea Fiorillo (Italy), who offers a comprehensive overview of the association while reflecting on its mission, history and role in European Psychiatry, and whose remarks highlights the power of collective effort and the importance of member engagement in shaping the EPA’s trajectory.

Followed by the intervention of Prof. Martina Rojnic Kuzman (Croatia), EPA Treasurer, with a more personal reflection on her journey within the EPA, the session traces her path from an engaged member to a leadership role. This is the opportunity to highlight her experience and to show how an active participation opens doors to influence, collaboration and personal growth.

The session ends with the words of Prof. Umberto Volpe (Italy), EPA Secretary for Sections. He focuses on the scientific output of the EPA Sections and their pivotal role in driving excellence in clinical practice and psychiatric research, with an emphasis on the importance of the association as a hub for scientific exchange and professional development. All while encouraging all members to take on a more active role within the EPA.

The discussions concludes with a Q&A session, so as to give participants the opportunity to ask any question and to connect with the EPA Leadership.
