EPA at Event on Psychedelic Research and Access in Ukraine at European Parliament

The EPA was pleased to join the event on Psychedelic Research and Access in Ukraine at the European Parliament in Brussels.

The event was organised by our partners at PAREA and the the MEP Action Group on Psychedelics in Healthcare, and the Ukrainian Psychedelic Research Association (UPRA), thanks to the hosting of MEP Dr Vytenis Andriukaitis.

EPA Past President, Prof. Geert Dom, held a presentation on clinician and regulatory initiatives to support mental health care in Ukraine and set clinical guidelines for implementing psychedelic therapies in practice in Europe.

The event featured representatives of the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament), the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, and the important perspective on recovery from post-traumatic stress disorder from a veteran of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
