This Section's mission is to:
The mission of the Philosophy and Psychiatry Section of the European Psychiatric Association (EPA) is to promote a rigorous and sustained dialogue between psychiatry and philosophy in order to deepen the understanding of mental disorders and to strengthen psychiatric theory and practice. The Section aims to foreground the experiential, embodied, ethical, and intersubjective dimensions of mental health, contributing to a more conceptually grounded, person-centered, and reflective psychiatry within the European context.
