Section mission

This Section's mission is to:

Promote high standards in research, training, and clinical practice in the field of multimorbidity among individuals with mental illnesses, and advocate integrated care that addresses both mental and physical health needs.

Section objectives

  1. To enhance knowledge and awareness: Disseminate updated knowledge on the intersection of mental and physical health conditions, with a focus on epidemiology, etiology, prevention, diagnosis, and manag
  2. To promote early detection and prevention: Develop strategies for the early identification of physical health risks in individuals with mental illness and implement preventive measures to reduce morbi
  3. To improve clinical outcomes: Identify and address unmet needs in the management of multimorbid conditions to raise standards of care and improve quality of life for affected individuals.
