Disclaimer

The Extranet.europsy.net database (hereafter referred to as the “Extranet”) is an online member database provided by the European Psychiatric Association (EPA) (“Extranet”), subject to your compliance with the terms and conditions set forth below. Please read this document carefully before sending your membership application or continuing to use the Extranet as a member. By sending your membership application or using the Extranet as a member, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth below. If you do not wish to be bound by these terms and conditions, you may opt out of not sending your membership application or using the database. EPA may modify this agreement at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified terms on the Extranet. You agree to review the agreement periodically to be aware of such modifications and your continued access or to use of the Extranet shall be deemed your conclusive acceptance of the modified terms.

The European Psychiatric Association (EPA), 15 Avenue de la Liberté, 67000 Strasbourg France is the sole manager of the Extranet database and directly manages the information included. The EPA provides access to some of this information to third parties and more specifically to MIC Geneva concerning the annual EPA Congress promotion and EPA membership status, as well as to Cambridge University Press concerning EPA members’ subscription to the European Psychiatry journal.

The Extranet is a database of all the EPA individual and national association / society members, and is used firstly, as tool for administrative use of members’ data by the EPA Office concerning contact details, membership statistics, annual fees management, journal subscriptions, newsletter sending and congress promotion. It is also used as a member/adherents’ pool of professional contacts at a European level.
The information requested concerns basic personal information / identity, professional life and connection data and it is archived by EPA for 5 years unless requested earlier by an adherent/member. The obligatory information requested is:

  • Surname, first name, date of birth, nationality, email, password
  • Personal (address, phone) and Professional contact details (institute, address, phone)
  • CV upload, Current position (title, institute, place, date), psychiatric training (diploma, school, place, year), proof of enrolment upload and end of current cycle (students only)
  • Membership category (individual, international, ECP, associate, student)
  • Specific options (ECP)

Members / Adherents are free to modify or update their basic personal information / identity, professional life and connection data whenever they wish. May print and download documents concerning their membership information from the different areas of the Extranet, such as annual membership fees (receipt, invoice) and certificate) and solely for personal or professional use.
Accepting these grants the Extranet the right to use your personal and professional data in connection with the submitted materials and other information, as well as in connection with all advertising, marketing and promotional material related thereto. Members / Adherents agree to have no recourse against Extranet for any alleged or actual infringement or misappropriation of any proprietary right in your communications within the Extranet.

“I accept the License Agreement and certify that the information provided for all of the items on this application form is complete and true to the best of my knowledge and belief. This information will be data processed and will be treated as confidential. According to article 34 of the French law of 6 January 1978, I have a right of access and of modification of my personal information.”
