Board and Committee on Ethics Member Jerzy Samochowiec received the Knight’s Cross!

The EPA is proud of its members and all the great contributions that they bring to the psychiatric world. This community is essential to our association, and we celebrate with our members each and every one of their achievements.

That is why we are extremely happy to share that EPA Board Member, Member of the Committee on Ethics and Vice-Rector for Research at the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin Prof. Jerzy Samochowiec has received the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta by the West Pomeranian Voivode, Adam Rudawski.

The Knight’s Cross is the fifth class of the Order and is conferred by the President of the Republic of Poland in order to reward exceptional achievements in the fields of science, education, culture, public service, national defense, social work, and international cooperation. This honorable award has been given to Prof. Samochowiec to recognize all of his contributions to teaching, scientific research and medical sciences.

This award is more than well-deserved, and we are delighted to be able to work with Prof. Samochowiec. Congratulations!
