Lifetime Achievement Award

The EPA Lifetime Achievement Award has been established to recognise outstanding and sustained contributions that have significantly advanced the field of psychiatry in Europe and worldwide, as well as the development of European Psychiatry. The award acknowledges individuals whose lifelong commitment has left a lasting mark on psychiatric research, education, clinical practice, leadership, and mental health policy.
Purpose
The award celebrates exceptional career-long achievements that have made a lasting impact on psychiatry, highlighting leadership, innovation, and service to the psychiatric community.
Award Highlights
Recipients of the EPA Lifetime Achievement Award receive:

Selection Process
Candidates can be proposed by the EPA President or nominated by members of the Education Committee. The Executive Committee reviews all nominations and makes the final decision, recognizing individuals with outstanding and sustained contributions to European psychiatry.
