“Psychosocial Treatments of Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorders: State of the Art and Problems in their Application in Common Clinical Practice. A European Perspective.”

The first of a series of webinars dedicated to NPAs and their association members took place on Monday, 25 September from 15:30 to 16:30 CEST. The webinar with the invited speaker Prof. Antonio Vita was focused on the topic: “Psychosocial Treatments of Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorders: State of the Art and Problems in their Application in Common Clinical Practice. A European Perspective”.

Prof. Vita discussed the evidence regarding the effectiveness of psychosocial interventions in schizophrenia, the importance of integrating them with pharmacological treatments as well as presenting the obstacles and difficulties in their implementation. The presentation was followed by a Q&A session with all participants.

The topic and the invited expert generated considerable interest among NPAs and their members, with a total of 60 participants from 17 countries attending the webinar.
