On-Demand Courses Framework and Procedures

EPA On-Demand Courses enable National Psychiatric Associations (NPAs) and selected partner organisations to bring expert-led psychiatric education directly to their national audiences.

How does it work?

Each course is a 180-minute interactive training session with clear learning objectives. Courses encourage active participation through case presentations, group discussions, role play and practical exercises.

The EPA will select and financially support up to five courses in 2027.

What does the EPA provide?

The EPA provides funding of up to €1,200 per course:

  • International flight: €500
  • Local transportation: €200
  • Accommodation: up to €400 (maximum two nights)
  • Contingency: €100

The EPA also promotes selected courses through its communication channels and provides a certificate template upon request.

Meals and registration fees are not covered. Eligible expenses for a course director and co-director combined must remain within the €1,200 limit.

What is expected from the Hosting Organisation?

The Hosting Organisation is responsible for:

  • Arranging travel, accommodation, local logistics and a suitable training venue.
  • Promoting the course and displaying the “On-Demand Course” designation alongside the EPA logo.
  • Arranging accreditation, where applicable, and disclosing pharmaceutical industry sponsorship.
  • Submitting the required event report, financial report and receipts, and online evaluations.

All selected courses must take place in 2027.
